The 13th annual Bridge Conference, taking place from July 31st to August 2nd at National Harbor, is quickly approaching! At the perfect time of year due to fall fundraising, it is time to make sure your nonprofit organization has an impeccable plan in place with the proper cadence and content in messaging. At Bridge, you will be exposed to what others have learned from their mistakes and challenges, perfect your messaging and gain the clarity you need to meet your goals. Production Solutions (PS) is looking forward to stepping outside of the work space and taking in all that this premier conference has to offer for the improvement of marketing and fundraising.
With countless speakers and an abundance of outstanding content, the Bridge conference will be a comprehensive experience of creativity and learning. Numerous educational tracks, or opportunities to sit in and listen to multiple different organizations, are extremely valuable sessions for all attendees looking for opportunities of growth. Coming together and learning from other organizations in an ‘outside the box’ approach is something PS looks forward to.
Bridge anticipates another record-breaking year in 2018 as over 2,200 attendees are expected to participate. Patrick McVean, a Business Development Director here at Production Solutions, and Bridge Sponsorship Committee Tri-Chair, will be attending his 13th Bridge Conference this year. McVean says, “There is always a lot of comradery at Bridge even though it’s a competitive industry. It’s an opportunity to meet competitors and build professional relationships with them from a networking standpoint, to learn from each other and to support one another even in a competitive world.”
PS also looks forward to spending time with our clients and gaining insight about successes and challenges to make it easier for our clients to have prosperous campaigns. Seeing what others are planning for this fall based on challenges they dealt with last fall, or additional investments they are making, is one of the many opportunities that Bridge has to offer.
“It’s so important to understand what the client’s goals are, and to see how we can support them in those goals. It’s really about trying to learn what the expectations are on the front end, and then guiding them and giving them the support they need,” states McVean.
By learning the latest innovations and techniques, nonprofit organizations gain the skills to take their campaigns’ effectiveness to the next level. McVean says, “Having conferences like this is vital to getting nonprofits to know that they are not alone and that they have so many resources. To be able to network and take information back to their offices is a big deal, and our number one goal at PS is to be the biggest advocate for our clients. To do whatever we can to give them a positive experience and help them be better at their jobs and missions is key. It helps me try to have a positive impact in the world. We are able to work with some amazing organizations that make the world a better place.”
In this rapidly evolving industry, education within our field becomes increasingly important. There are bigger threats and greater opportunities, and the more we can learn about these opportunities and bring them to our clients, and minimize the threats from a cost or a technology standpoint, is only going to help us.
An incredibly valuable investment to attend, Bridge 2018 is right around the corner. Don’t forget to stop by Production Solutions’ booth, #318! We look forward to seeing you this week.
