EVP (Earned Value Promotion) = EASY MONEY!

Shannon Azbill

Senior Supplier Relations Manager

Do you include a Business Reply Envelope (BRE) or Courtesy Reply Envelope (CRE) with an intelligent mail barcode (IMb) in your direct mail campaigns?

If the answer is ‘yes’, then you should absolutely and unequivocally participate in the Earned Value Promotion (EVP) this spring since you already meet the requirements for this promotion. It really is a “no-brainer” and will be easy money to claim!

The USPS wants to encourage you to keep including those reply envelopes in your direct mail campaigns and this promotion offers you an incentive for using them.  For each reply envelope that is mailed back to your organization during the promotion timeframe will earn a $.02 credit per piece from the USPS.

If you read the EVP promotion requirements from the USPS, you may walk away scratching your head and thinking the promotion may be more trouble than it is worth. However, we are here to say, “Don’t worry about it!”.  Production Solutions has run this promotion successfully for many of our clients and we can say firsthand, it is easy…really easy…even if the fine print does not make it seem that way!

This promotion requires zero investment and minimal effort on your part — it is only a matter of getting the correct MID’s registered with the USPS…and PS will help with that. We promise, it will be easy.

This is how it works:

  • Production Solutions will help register your MID for the promotion in the Business Customer Gateway (BCG) February 15, 2022 – March 31, 2022.
  • The USPS tallies the number of returned mail pieces with the registered MID from April 1, 2022 – June 30, 2022.
  • The credit redemption period runs July 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022. During this time credits are reviewed, accepted and applied to the designated permits.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this great opportunity, please reach out to you PS team and we would be happy to help you claim this Easy Money!
