Raising Our Boats with the Tide

I am honored and blessed to be celebrating 20 years of service with PS this year. Working with such smart, hard-working people who are aligned with a mission that helps make the world a better place through working with so many other organizations is something I am beyond grateful for.   

Choosing to start a career at PS is up there in my top two best life choices. I consider PS family, and I have so much passion and love for the company. I have worked with incredible people who have shown me kindness, and honesty and who have truly helped me grow as a person. For those of you whom I have not yet had the chance to work with, I cannot wait to connect in the future.   

Though the production industry faces many challenges, PS has met them and come out victorious on the other side – whether USPS scares, the COVID-19 pandemic and major supply chain disruptions, unfortunate closures, the list goes on. I am proud to work alongside thought leaders and change-makers who never give up the fight.  

Over the last 20 years, many aspects of the industry have evolved (along with me). The changes we have seen in technology have been paramount. PS initially sent data tapes to mailshops and we did proofs with blueline hard copy film, and now everything is digitized into a PDF – thank goodness! Additionally, nonprofits have evolved with rapid and content-rich experiences which continue to help them “catch up” with commercial organizations. Something that has not evolved much which I am grateful for, is the presence of individuals themselves. It has been a blessing to work with so many of the same great people and build 20-year-long relationships.   

My vision for PS and our industry is that we continue to evolve and raise our boats with the tide. Now more than ever, it is best to collaborate with all channels so that each donor can connect to the mission of the organization. This connection gives the donor a positive experience that deeply resonates with them.
